When treating breast cancer, the options for breast reconstruction surgeries and techniques are diverse. These treatments often cause significant emotional effects and sequelae in patients. We talked about all this with three experts on the subject: Dr. Joan Fontdevila, head of the Plastic Surgery service at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona; Beatriz Rubio, psycho-oncologist at Hospital Sant Joan from Reus; and Teresa Godall, nurse at the Breast Pathology Unit of Hospital Sant Joan de Reus and patient.
