In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Spanish Data Protection Act (Law 3/2018), this is notice that the personal data provided through forms and your email address have been incorporated in data processing for which the data controller is FEDERACIÓ CATALANA D’ENTITATS CONTRA EL CÀNCER, [FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer], whose registered office is C/ PERE VERGÉS, 1 11ª PLANTA DESPATX 1º – 08020 BARCELONA, UTR G62599212, and is registered under number 408 in the Register of Associations of the Regional Government of Catalonia, registered under number 399 in the Register of special interest groups of the Regional Government of Catalonia and is responsible for the management and functioning of the Website.

This is notice that your personal data may be processed for the purpose of providing you information concerning our products or services by electronic means, subject to your consent to processing. Your personal data may be used for the preparation of profiles for the purpose of implementing a customer loyalty plan depending on the business links of the customer and to present offers that match your preferences. However, you may at any time object to such messages by sending an email to federacio@juntscontraelcancer.cat with subject line Removal from distribution list.

You can also exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, data portability and restriction of processing by email with copy of your National Identity Document or equivalent form of ID to: dpd@juntscontraelcancer.cat, with subject line Data Protection.

FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer is particularly aware of the need to protect the personal data of users of the services accessed via the Website. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform users of juntscontraelcancer.cat of the processing and uses to which personal data gathered through additional information on the Website for the purpose of allowing them to decide freely and in their own discretion whether they wish to provide the personal data requested.

SECURITY MEASURES 

Finally, this is notice that FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer, has implemented in its computer systems the technical and organisational measures required to ensure the security and confidentiality of the stored personal data and so as to avoid their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, in light of the state of the technology, costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing and the likelihood and seriousness of the risks associated with each form of processing.

SOCIAL MEDIA

This is notice that FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer may be active on social media. The processing of personal data carried out in relation to the personal data of the followers of  FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer on social media (and of anyone who makes any link or action to connect on social media) will be governed by this paragraph and by the terms of use, privacy policies and rules of access of any particular social media platform that have been accepted by users.

FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer will process your personal data for the process of managing its presence on social media, reporting on its business, products and services and for any other purpose allowed by the rules of each social media platform.

It is forbidden to publish content:

  • That is illegal under the laws of Spain and the European Union, international law or that constitutes unlawful conduct or conduct in bad faith.
  • That infringes the fundamental human rights, is disrespectful on the social media platform, harasses or may generate negative views in our users or third parties or that contains any content considered inappropriate by FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer.
  • Or that in any way are inconsistent with principles of lawfulness, honour, responsibility, human dignity, public order, privacy, consumer protection and any intellectual property rights.

FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer reserves the right to remove without notice any content that it considers inappropriate from the Website or its corporate social media.

In any event if you provide personal information via social media, FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer will have no liability in relation to security measures for this Website and each user can see the terms of use for each social media platform for details of such measures. 

USERS’ RIGHTS 

Each data subject may in any event exercise their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Spanish Data Protection Act (Law 3/2018), namely:

A. The right of access, which may be exercised once per year in the absence of established legitimate interest.

FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer will give notice of its decision within one month. Where a request is granted, the data subject may access that information within ten days following notice of that decision.

B. Rights of rectification and erasure may be exercised as set out below when a data subject believes that the personal data collected in our processing are inaccurate, incomplete, insufficient or excessive. In that event, the rights may be exercised in any of the manners described above.
FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer, will rectify or erase personal data within ten days of receipt of the relevant request.

C. The right of objection may be exercised as described below when a data subject wishes to object to the processing of their personal data even though the personal data are being processed lawfully on the basis of legitimate interest or consent to use for purposes publicity.

D. The right of data portability may be exercised as described below when a data subject wishes their personal data to be returned to them or provided to a third party (Data Controller).

E. The right of restriction of processing may be exercised following exercise of the right to object to processing pending a determination in that regard so as to restrict processing.

CHANGE IN LAW 

FECEC, Junts contra el Càncer, reserves the right to change this Policy in order to take account of new laws or amendments to existing laws and decided cases. Notice will be given of such changes with the required notice on our Website, without prejudice to the requirement to obtain the consent of data subjects when such consent is not deemed to have been given under this Policy.

Purpose

Description of purpose of processing

In line with the principle of minimal processing any personal data collected with be processed exclusively for specific, express and legitimate purposes and will no be processed for any other purpose inconsistent with those purposes.

Period of retention

Personal data provided will be retained while the commercial relationship exists so long as you do not request their erasure. This is notice to you that under the law we may be obliged to retain personal data for tax and accounting reasons and provide such personal data at the request of competent authorities.
