How to eat healthy at the best price, the focus of the XIV Setmana Catalana de la Prevenció del Càncer (SECAPC)
La Federació Catalana d’Entitats contra el Càncer (FECEC) is organizing the 14th edition of the Setmana Catalana de la Prevenció del Càncer (SECAPC) from September 26 to October 3. The motto of SECAPC is “Menja sa i mou-te” (“Eat healthy and get moving,”) and its goal is to raise awareness among the population to adopt healthy lifestyles in accordance with the recommendations of the European Code Against Cancer to prevent the disease. This year, SECAPC focuses on debunking the myth that following a healthy and balanced diet is expensive.

Volunteers in the field of oncology reflect on the deep sense of gratitude they experience as a result of their commitment and service
The Oncology Volunteer Gathering, organized annually by the Catalan Federation Against Cancer (FECEC), held its 21st edition this Saturday, May 24, at the Ciutadella Campus of Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). This year, oncology volunteers came together to reflect on gratitude and the positive impact that volunteering has on the body and mind of those who engage in it.

The FECEC participates in the event ’25 years of the Programa de cribratge de càncer colorectal a Catalunya: situation and challenges.’
On the eve of the Colorectal Cancer Awareness Day, the Departament de Salut de la Generalitat de Catalunya held the event titled “25 anys del Programa de cribratge de càncer colorectal a Catalunya: situació i reptes,” an event where various professionals involved in the Program for the Early Prevention of colorectal cancer reviewed the 25-year history of the screening program and discussed future challenges. The FECEC Junts contra el Càncer participated to present the perspective of patient organizations.

‘Pebrots pel càncer’ 2025: thank you very much!
On Saturday, the eleventh edition of the solidarity campaign "Pebrots pel càncer" by the Federació Catalana d'Entitats contra el Càncer (FECEC) and Condis supermarkets came to a close. A total of 1,481 volunteers participated across various Condis stores in Catalonia, including 470 ESO students.
