Por este motivo, el 24 de septiembre se celebra el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldcancerresearchday.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">D\u00eda Mundial de la Investigaci\u00f3n en C\u00e1ncer<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Las estimaciones muestran que el <a href=\"https:\/\/juntscontraelcancer.cat\/es\/el-cancer\/\">c\u00e1ncer<\/a> ser\u00e1 la principal causa de muerte en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os con un aumento de 21,6 millones de casos. Estas previsiones demandan mayores esfuerzos de apoyo en diferentes \u00e1mbitos. Uno de los m\u00e1s importantes es continuar potenciando la investigaci\u00f3n en las causas, la <a href=\"https:\/\/juntscontraelcancer.cat\/es\/factores-de-riesgo\/\">prevenci\u00f3n<\/a> y la <a href=\"https:\/\/juntscontraelcancer.cat\/es\/deteccion-precoz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">detecci\u00f3n precoz<\/a> del c\u00e1ncer como factor esencial para controlar la enfermedad hasta conseguir que se pueda curar o se pueda transformar en una enfermedad cr\u00f3nica con un elevado \u00edndice de supervivencia.
