Cada a\u00f1o se prev\u00e9 que habr\u00e1 4.138 casos en Catalu\u00f1a. Desde 1994, en Catalu\u00f1a, la incidencia de este tumor se mantiene estable en hombres y aumenta un 5,1% anual en mujeres.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n es un c\u00e1ncer que se forma en los tejidos del pulm\u00f3n, generalmente en las c\u00e9lulas que recubren los conductos de aire, y pueden diseminarse a otras partes del cuerpo. Existen de dos tipos: el c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n de c\u00e9lula peque\u00f1a, el menos frecuente y que tiende a diseminarse con rapidez; y el c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n de c\u00e9lula no peque\u00f1a, el m\u00e1s frecuente y se disemina m\u00e1s lentamente.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39390\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39390\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.juntscontraelcancer.cat\/news\/17-novembre-dia-mundial-cancer-pulmo-3\/checking-x-ray-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-39390\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/juntscontraelcancer.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CANCER-PULMOb.jpg\" alt=\"Over the shoulder view of senior doctor examining chest x-ray image\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39390\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39390\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Foto: Freepik<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>FACTORES DE RIESGO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n puede afectar cualquier persona, pero algunos factores aumentan el riesgo de tenerlo. El principal y m\u00e1s frecuente es el consumo de tabaco. Fumar causa cerca de 9 de cada 10 casos de c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n en hombres y 8 de cada 10 casos en mujeres.<\/p>\n<p>Otros factores de riesgo son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Humo de otros<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Antecedentes familiares de c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Estar o haber estado expuesto a determinadas sustancias:<\/strong> amianto, asbesto, ars\u00e9nico, cromo, berilio, n\u00edquel, holl\u00edn o alquitr\u00e1n en el lugar de trabajo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Estar expuesto radiaciones:<\/strong> radioterapia de mama o t\u00f3rax, rad\u00f3n o tomograf\u00edas computarizadas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Envejecimiento<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><strong>Contaminaci\u00f3n del aire<\/strong><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DIAGN\u00d3STICO PRECOZ, SINTOMATOLOG\u00cdA Y DIAGN\u00d3STICO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente no hay ning\u00fan m\u00e9todo para la detecci\u00f3n temprana del c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n para ser aplicado en la poblaci\u00f3n general, y el m\u00e1s eficaz es abandonar el consumo de tabaco o no empezar con el h\u00e1bito.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sobre los s\u00edntomas, a veces, el c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n no causa ning\u00fan s\u00edntoma en su fase inicial. Si se tienen s\u00edntomas, estos pueden incluir:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dolor o molestias en el pecho<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Tos que no desaparece o que empeora con el tiempo<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dificultad para respirar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sibilancias<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sangre en la mucosidad de los pulmones <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ronquera<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> P\u00e9rdida del hambre<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> P\u00e9rdida de peso sin causa aparente<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Fatiga<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Problemas para tragar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Abultamiento en la cara y \/ o venas en el cuello.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Y si la enfermedad se propaga a otras partes del cuerpo, pueden aparecer:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dolor de huesos (espalda y caderas)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alteraciones del sistema nervioso (dolor de cabeza, debilidad, p\u00e9rdida de equilibrio, miembros que se duermen, mareos)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piel amarilla<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ganglios linf\u00e1ticos inflamados<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>El diagn\u00f3stico se suele hacer con una radiograf\u00eda de t\u00f3rax, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TAC o TC y con <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">identificaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas tumorales de pulm\u00f3n, entre otras pruebas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>TRATAMIENTO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El tratamiento comporta cirug\u00eda (para los tumores grandes), quimioterapia, radioterapia, terapias biol\u00f3gicas y f\u00e1rmacos, dependiendo del estadio  y tipo de tumor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRON\u00d3STICO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Desde 1994, la mortalidad se reduce un 1,1% anual en hombres y aumenta un 4,4% anual en mujeres, siendo la tasa de supervivencia del 11,1% en hombres y del 19,9% en mujeres a 5 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El 17 de noviembre se el D\u00eda Mundial del C\u00e1ncer de Pulm\u00f3n, jornada que se celebra con el objetivo de sensibilizar sobre este tipo c\u00e1ncer, el de tasa m\u00e1s baja de supervivencia al mundo.
